Rotary Clubs of Sale and Kwai Chung donate 5,000 masks to the Manchester and Trafford Mutual Aid Hub
The Rotary Club of Sale has worked in partnership with the Rotary Club of Kwai Chung in Hong Kong to donate 5,000 masks to the Manchester and Trafford PPE Mutual Aid Hub to support the local community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Manchester and Trafford Mutual Aid Hub distributes PPE to non-hospital sector such as care homes, nursing homes, primary care providers, when normal supply routes have been exhausted.
Laura Hobbs, Trafford Program Lead for The Mutual Aid Hub commented: “We’re extremely grateful to the Rotary Clubs of Sale and Kwai Chung for their generous donation. As with all the donations we receive we’re currently checking all the quality assurance standards before we distribute it appropriately.”
We are a very busy rotary club and are incredibly committed to serving our community where help is needed. This is just one way we can help by using our international connection. If anyone is interested in joining-in with our exciting plans please do get in touch with us via our website.
We will also like to thank the Rotary Club of Kwai Chung in Hong Kong again and look forward to continuing partnerships on many more projects in the future.
